Matt's Academic Bio

Matthew J. Miller received the BS degree, summa cum laude, from Clemson University in computer engineering and the MS and PhD degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in computer science. Under the supervision of Prof. Nitin H. Vaidya, his research focused on energy efficiency and security for sensor and multihop wireless networks. Currently, Matthew is a software engineer at NetApp in North Carolina and previously worked at Cisco Systems. He was a recipient of the National Science Foundation Fellowship and the ASEE National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship.
